Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has taken a swipe at Nollywood actress Biola Bayo over her failed marriage, seemingly in response to her previous interview with his babymama, Ashabi Simple.
Famous9ja reports that the Yoruba actress recently revealed, while celebrating her husband’s birthday, that they have been separated since April last year. She noted that despite the split, they have chosen to co-parent their son in a mature and peaceful manner.
Addressing those who might feel let down, Biola Bayo offered a heartfelt apology and admitted she had hoped her marriage would work out. However, she emphasized that it’s more important to stay alive to share her story. She urged fans to keep her and her family in their prayers, revealing the painful irony of spreading joy to others while secretly crying into her pillow almost every night for the past 14 months.
In a video circulating online, controversial singer Portable—whose babymama Ashabi Simple was interviewed by Biola last year—mocked the actress, pointing out the irony of her interviewing other people’s wives while no longer living with her own husband. He ridiculed her for her unsettled home, remarking that life is truly full of drama.
“So you aren’t in your husband’s house, yet, you have been interviewing other people’s wives. No problem. So your house isn’t settled? You know, life is just like drama”.
