Popular Nigerian entertainer and philanthropist, DJ Cuppy, has shared an inspiring message aimed at women over 30 who may be feeling pressured by societal expectations about relationships.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the 31-year-old artist opened up about her own experiences and offered heartfelt encouragement, drawing strength and insight from her faith.
Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, highlighted the importance of discovering fulfillment outside of romantic relationships, encouraging women to recognize and embrace their inherent value.
“I was thinking about it, how I am probably not the only one in this situation. I’m going to call it a season of solidarity where a lot of my wins and values are not necessarily from a partner,” she said.
She encouraged single women over 30 who may feel incomplete or overlooked to place their trust in divine timing.
Cuppy referenced the Bible verse Isaiah 54:5, which says: “For your real husband is the one who created you, Lord of all the earth. If you feel like you’re missing something in your life, God fills gaps and will never desert you. While you are waiting, know that the right person will come at the right time. And just as I have learnt, what is for you will not pass you.”
