Veteran Nollywood actress, Peju Ogunmola, has been left devastated following the painful loss of her only son, Ayomikun, at just 24 years old.
The tragic news was announced by her colleague, Odunlade Adekola, who shared an emotional post online expressing his grief.
While the circumstances surrounding Ayomikun’s passing are still unknown, the heartbreaking news has cast a cloud of sorrow on social media, with colleagues and fans of the actress mourning deeply with her.
In his post, Odunlade Adekola described the tragedy as a huge loss and prayed for God’s comfort and strength for Peju Ogunmola during this painful period.
Odunlade Adekola wrote; “This is a big LOSS 😭😭😭😭😭😭 God will console you ma …… and the whole family E LE YI PO OOO.
Actress Biola Bayo wrote; “This is a big loss💔💔💔💔 This is devastating and heartbreaking 💔 This is tragic 💔💔💔💔 May God almighty Comfort mummy Peju Ogunmola who just lost her only child 😭😭 May God almighty be with the family and loved ones at this tough time.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭.”
Femi Adebayo also shared a post where he wrote; “Life has written a line too heavy for the stage… Today, we mourn with our dear elder, a thespian whose heart now carries the weight no mother should bear. My thoughts and prayers are with you ma. May Almighty Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”
Also, Oluwaseun Moyo Oloketuyi, the Founder/ Chief Executive Officer of Best of Nollywood (BON) Ventures, confirms the death of Peju Ogunmola’s only son today, September 2nd 2025 via his Instagram page
She wrote; “Breaking Peju ogunmola loses her only child He was 24 Such a sad day.”
