Nollywood actress Omowunmi Ajiboye faced backlash from fans after sharing a controversial Father’s Day post alongside her colleagues.
Her message stirred mixed reactions online, drawing attention and criticism as she joined in this year’s Father’s Day celebration.
She started her message by applauding all responsible fathers, then took a swipe at “deadbeat dads,” warning them about the consequences of neglecting their children.
However, Omowunmi Ajiboye quickly came under fire from fans who reminded her of past controversies, including allegations that she had “snatched” another woman’s husband.
In her Father’s Day message shared online, the actress who recently bought a new car amid rumors of a relationship with NURTW boss MC Oluomo called out absentee fathers. She questioned how such men could sleep peacefully at night after abandoning their children and leaving the responsibility of care entirely to the mothers.
Omowunmi didn’t hold back, invoking the wrath of God on irresponsible fathers and warning that their actions would have long-term consequences.
Despite her harsh words for deadbeat dads, the actress also used the opportunity to celebrate responsible fathers.
She acknowledged the numerous tributes from women honoring their partners and praised dedicated men who actively and lovingly raise their children.
“May God bless the fathers who are truly present in their children’s lives,” she wrote.

Although Omowunmi previously responded to rumours about her relationship with MC Oluomo, she is yet to clarify why she branded her ex-husband, Segun Ogungbe, a deadbeat father.
