Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has stirred reactions online with a new video where he claims that his breakout hit, “Zazoo Zeh,” was the song that brought rapper Olamide international recognition.
Recall that “Zazoo Zeh,” which marked Portable’s debut in the music scene, was released in December 2021 and featured YBNL boss Olamide alongside popular dancer Pocolee.
In the trending video, Portable expressed his disappointment, stating that he is upset Olamide hasn’t shown him love or supported him again since their collaboration on the hit track.
Speaking further in the video, Portable admitted that there had been ongoing misunderstandings between him and Olamide. He prayed to God never to give him a helper who would judge him based on his personality.
Expanding on his claims, Portable insisted that his hit track “Zazoo Zeh” was what gave Olamide international exposure. He also added that his collaboration with British rapper Skepta on the song “Tony Montana” helped bring the global star closer to the streets.
Appealing to Olamide, Portable urged the rapper to overlook his shortcomings and give him another chance either by featuring him on a track or including him in his album or deluxe version. He confidently added that if they collaborate again, the song would be Grammy-worthy.
