Popular Yoruba movie actor Dare Agbejo has shared a humiliating experience he had on a movie set, involving a senior colleague in the Yoruba film industry. In an interview posted on the official YouTube channel of Feelrightnews, the actor revealed that he was embarrassed in front of fellow cast members and forced to prostrate to a lady.
According to Dare, the incident occurred after he declined to carry out an errand for the woman, who turned out to be the sidechick of a fellow actor. As a result, the actor insisted that Dare must prostrate to her in front of everyone on set, causing him significant embarrassment.
In his statement, he said, “When we were on a movie set, an actor’s sidechick came to me and asked me to buy her a soft drink. My junior colleagues were so angry, but I told them that she did it because she didn’t know who I was. She responded by saying that she does not care who I was, and she went inside to tell my senior colleague, who is her boyfriend. The actor called everyone, and he started embarrassing me by saying that she can send me to buy anything she likes. An actor said I must choose between prostrating to beg his sidechick or leaving his movie set. My boys asked me to leave the movie set, but I chose to beg the lady by prostrating myself to her in front of other actors, and I started crying.”
