Popular comedian, Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has shared the story of how his father converted from Islam to Christianity.
He revealed this while speaking with a fan he encountered during his visit to the United States.
The fan told him he had assumed he was Muslim like himself, but Shank clarified that he is a Christian.
He explained that although he bears a Muslim name, Saheed, it’s because his father was once a Muslim.
According to Shank, his father converted to Christianity on the day a church offered him food when he was extremely hungry.
Shank said …
“My daddy was a Muslim. Then there was one time he was fucking hungry then one church gave him food, then he became a Christian. I swear to God, my dad is so cheap.”
