Yoruba Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has shared a heartwarming video of her daughter, Simisola, with veteran actors Ayo Mogaji and Femi Branch, expressing how proud the moment made her feel.
In the video shared on her Instagram page, the recent graduate is seen speaking Yoruba in a polished and refined accent while on a movie set with the veteran actors.
In her caption, Laide praised her daughter for nailing it with them.

This isn’t Simisola’s first time appearing in a movie. Back in 2022, Laide Bakare proudly celebrated her daughter’s acting debut, sharing a video of Simi on a movie set and expressing her excitement over the milestone.
In a related development, social media was sent into a frenzy three years ago when Laide claimed that her then 13-year-old daughter gifted her 9-year-old brother a Benz for his birthday. The post sparked widespread reactions, prompting Laide to defend the claim by revealing that Simisola runs a multimillion-naira business named Slimline Properties.
The mother of three also explained why she had kept her daughter away from the spotlight, saying Simisola is “too hot” for the public eye and would remain low-profile for another five years.
While celebrating her daughter’s birthday in 2023, Laide reflected on a heartfelt prayer she made on her own 25th birthday — asking God for a daughter instead of a husband.
