Renowned Yoruba movie star Yetunde Wunmi revealed that there’s only one condition under which she would consider accepting a romantic partner at this stage in her life.
In a candid interview on the Talk2dunnis TV YouTube channel, the actress opened up about her personal life, her children’s firm views, and the qualities she now seeks in a potential companion.
During the interview, the actress responded with a blend of humor and honesty when asked if she was still interested in pursuing a new romantic relationship. She explained that while she isn’t completely opposed to companionship, she has no intention of settling for anything less than what she feels she now deserves.
According to her, any man hoping to win her heart must be financially stable. She made it clear that she is no longer in a phase of life where she’s willing to endure the hardships of starting from scratch in a relationship. Instead, she wants to enjoy the rewards of her hard work and spend the rest of her life in comfort and happiness.
“At this point in my life, I want ease. I want peace. I want luxury and enjoyment,” Wunmi explained. “If any man thinks he can come into my life now, he has to come prepared—with money. I’ve worked too hard, and I don’t want stress anymore. I want to be treated well and live well.”
However, her desires are not hers alone to consider. She also revealed that her children play a significant role in her personal decisions, particularly when it comes to dating. Wunmi laughed as she described how her children are fiercely protective of her and would likely object to her introducing a romantic partner into their lives.
She added: “My children will chase away any man from me now because they won’t accommodate any man in my life at the moment.”
