The post stirred speculation that Nollywood makeover artist Adewunmi Fatai might be tying the knot, following in the footsteps of Iyabo Ojo’s daughter and Ruby Ojiakor. In his caption, Malik referred to Adewunmi as “the love of his life.“

Adewunmi Fatai was previously in a serious relationship with actor Mustapha Sholagbade, but the pair eventually parted ways due to her reportedly erratic behavior. Mustapha accused her of frequently hurling curses at him and his mother and claimed she left with their child when the baby was just 41 days old.
After their breakup, Mustapha remarried on Saturday, August 12, in Osogbo, Osun State. However, tensions resurfaced in 2023 when, on his birthday, Fatai publicly called him out for being a deadbeat father. She detailed various responsibilities he had allegedly neglected regarding their son.
In an interview in March last year, Adewunmi opened up on their messy break-up, which she learned about on the internet. She noted how she and Mustapha were still together when he granted an interview, revealing why he couldn’t marry her.
