“Kunle! If I Die You Must Be Present At My Funeral, You Are The Only Actor That Took Care Of Me”- Veteran Actor Buffalo Mother Shower Prayers On Kunle Afod After She Lost All Her Children

The mother of the late legendary Yoruba actor Musiliu Ajikanle, popularly known as Buffalo, has made an emotional appeal to actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod, expressing her deepest wish for his continued support.

In a heartfelt moment, Mama Buffalo, as she is affectionately known, told Kunle Afod, I’m entrusting my entire life to you. When I die, I don’t want to be buried unless you’re there—because you’re the only one who has stood by me.”

Overwhelmed with emotion, she shared cherished old photographs of her two late sons—Buffalo and his younger brother—while reflecting on the profound pain and loss she has experienced.

She spoke of her renewed commitment to God, declaring that she has dedicated her entire life to serving Him. With a heavy heart, she added, “If my children were still alive, I wouldn’t be going through this suffering.”

Musiliu Ajikanle passed away in 2017 after a prolonged battle with a stroke. Throughout his illness, it was his mother and wife who cared for him devotedly. Mama Buffalo revealed that she exhausted all her resources in a desperate attempt to restore his health, but all her efforts ended in heartbreak.

Deeply touched by her words, Kunle Afod acknowledged the support she had received from others over time and promptly gave her N50,000 to assist her. Mama Buffalo explained that she needed a fridge to sustain her small business, hoping it would help her become self-reliant and avoid burdening anyone. She also shared that someone had once promised to help but never followed through.

Kunle gently reassured her, saying, “Forget about that person; God can still use others to bless you.” He went on to reveal that she is also struggling with hearing and mobility issues, expressing how deeply saddened he was by everything she had confided in him.
