
Actor Jide Awobona has expressed heartfelt gratitude to his colleagues Odunlade Adekola and Jumoke Odetola for rescheduling the release dates of their films to make room for his upcoming movie, AMAA.
In a post shared on Instagram on Thursday, Jide posted photos with the two stars and thanked them warmly for their support and thoughtful gesture.
He wrote:
“…even if they’re both not in AMMA, I can bet they would still do same, except for a crucial reason out of their control.
Thank you for postponing your movie when you found out I’m dropping mine the same date you scheduled for yours. God bless and honour you Sir @odunomoadekola, you’re indeed a FATHER, Ese modupe gan ni.”
Jide also praised Jumoke, describing her as family.
“My bloodline @jumokeodetola, you proved once again that the blood is not diluted, no be mouth, thanks a lot dear, God bless you and enlarge your coast.”
The Jenifa’s Diary star also thanked other filmmakers who adjusted their release dates in his favour.
“To every other producers who did same like my egbon @abeyjomo and @anike_ami did, God won’t forsake you, thanks a lot for this honour, I do not take it for granted .”
He went on to encourage fans to look out for Odunlade’s next movie, calling it a masterpiece.
Jide Awobona has announced that his highly anticipated film AMAA will premiere exclusively on his YouTube channel on August 1.
Sharing the news on Instagram, the actor urged fans to subscribe to his channel and turn on notifications so they don’t miss the release.
AMAA boasts a star-studded cast, including Odunlade Adekola, Joke Muyiwa, Jumoke Odetola, Raihana Jimoh, and Tope Aremu.
