Mixed reactions have begun to trail a new video circulating online, capturing the moment Davido linked up with Fuji legend K1 De Ultimate in Abuja.
K1 De Ultimate was in the capital on May 22, 2025, where he performed at the APC National Summit. During his visit, he coincidentally ran into Davido and his crew at a luxurious restaurant in the city.
Upon spotting K1 De Ultimate, Davido immediately approached him, warmly addressing him as “Daddy K1” before the two shared a heartfelt hug.
However, the hug between Davido and K1 De Ultimate lingered for a while, with Davido seen whispering something into the Fuji maestro’s ear.
What caught the attention of many, though, was K1 De Ultimate’s serious facial expression—he didn’t crack a smile throughout the interaction.
The singer’s stern demeanor sparked mixed reactions, with some suggesting that he might have smiled if it were Grammy winner Wizkid instead of Davido.
Adding to the buzz, Davido’s close friend, Cubana Chief Priest, was heard in the background referring to K1 De Ultimate by his first name, “Wasiu,” a move that rubbed some viewers the wrong way. He also described the moment as “Legend to Legend.”
