Prominent Yoruba actor Opeyemi Eniola Alao has opened up about how he would approach an actress he admires in the film industry. He also shared advice for actresses on how to avoid being pressured into trading sex for roles.
In an interview posted on the official YouTube channel of Mtec TV, the actor revealed that if he finds an actress attractive, he would express his interest (toast her) respectfully, but would never force her into a relationship.
In his statement, he said, “I’m not supporting sex for movie roles because it is an act of immorality and it is not good. If a movie director insists that he must have an affair with an actress before giving her a movie role, the actress should leave the movie director and go somewhere else. Any movie director that’s forcing actresses to sleep with them before giving them movie roles will later lose their integrity. If I admire an actress, I will toast her, but I won’t force her to sleep with me. If I try to force an actress on myself or try to give her a condition before giving her a movie role, it means I have sinned against God.
