Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has revealed in a recent interview that he earned a staggering N70 million from his much-publicized boxing match with fellow entertainer Speed Darlington.
Recall that the heated feud between Portable and Speed Darlington was settled in the ring on April 18, 2025, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Lagos.
The “Zazoo Zeh” crooner decisively defeated Speed Darlington, who reportedly sustained a shoulder injury during the bout and had to be placed in an ambulance. Ironically, Speed Darlington had entered the venue with a casket, confident he would emerge victorious.
In a new video, controversial singer Portable opened up about the celebrity boxing match with Speed Darlington, revealing he made a total of N70 million from the event in just three days.
According to Portable, he received N30 million upfront after agreeing to the fight — and that was only the beginning. After defeating Speed Darlington in the ring, he earned another N20 million.
He also revealed that Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy had promised to give him N20 million if he won the match — a promise that was fulfilled, bringing his total earnings from the fight to N70 million.
