Nollywood actress Ariyo Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity, has opened up about her deeply emotional journey as a mother during an interview with Biola on her talk show.
While speaking on the show, Kemity revealed that she has two children for two different men. Getting emotional, she recounted how her first love disvirgined her and got her pregnant. According to her, after their child was born, the man travelled to Malaysia in search of greener pastures. Sadly, when he returned to Nigeria, tragedy struck he was killed in a hotel, leaving her widowed at a young age.
“That’s how I became a widow,” she said tearfully. She added that her mother decided to name her children after their late father, as a way of preserving his memory.
Her candid revelation moved many viewers, as Kemity bravely shared the personal struggles behind her success and strength today.
