Nigerian comedian Kemi Ikuseedun, popularly known as Mummy Wa, has responded to a trending Instagram post, firmly stating that she can never approach or woo a man.
In her reaction, she admitted that pride plays a role, revealing that she wouldn’t make the first move on a man—even if he were her crush.
The conversation started after Instagram influencer Omotomike encouraged women to drop their pride and slide into the DMs of men they admire, saying there’s nothing wrong with simply asking, “Can I be your girlfriend?”

However, like many other ladies in the comment section, Mummy Wa, who goes by @kemz_mama on Instagram, stated that she could never be the first to woo a man she likes, joking that she might “die in the process.” She ended her comment with laughing emojis.
