Nollywood actress Bose Alao has shed light on her marital journey and her relationship with fellow actress Iyabo Ojo.
During an interview with her colleague, Biola Bayo, Bose revealed that she once became her husband’s side chick.
She explained that after being separated from her husband for three years, circumstances led to her returning to him not as his wife initially, but as his side chick.
Bose Alao recounted a painful moment when she called her husband, and another woman answered the phone, referring to her as an “old taker.” She admitted the insult deeply hurt her, especially considering how much she had sacrificeo putting her career on hold for the sake of her marriage.
The Yoruba actress shared that when a friend asked if she was finally done with the relationship, she replied that she wasn’t and was willing to give it her all. Bose further reflected on how marriage can reveal unexpected parts of a person, stating that no one truly knows themselves until they get married.
“You don’t even truly know who you are until you get into marriage. Maybe you’re thinking I am a very calm person, but marriage can bring out something else in you.

Bose also spoke on her relationship with Iyabo Ojo, as she credited her for changing her life. The Yoruba actress said Iyabo saw her when she was hosting a traditional wedding and booked her for her daughter’s wedding without knowing that Priscilla would get married swiftly.
“There are some things that I went through that I don’t wish for my enemies.
Aunty Iyabo saw me on a job. She said she didn’t know I was good. She told me I would anchor the program once Priscilla was set to get married. There was no Juma then.
That job changed a lot of things in my home”.
