Social media users have been left divided after a Lagos court dismissed Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s defamation lawsuit against her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin.
Famous9ja had reported last year that Iyabo filed a ₦1 billion lawsuit against Lizzy Anjorin over defamatory statements she allegedly made on social media.
The defamation suit was dismissed by a Lagos court on Wednesday.

Recall that for several months, Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin kept the internet buzzing with their public feud. Iyabo had posted a video in which she humorously mimicked and mocked Lizzy. In response, a displeased Lizzy fired back by revealing personal details about Iyabo, accusing her of promiscuity.
Following the accusations, Iyabo threatened legal action, demanding a public apology from Lizzy or face a ₦500 million lawsuit for her defamatory statements.
