Footballer Razaq Omotoyossi, Husband of Actress Bose Alao, Laid to Rest Today (Video)

Nigerian footballer and husband of Nollywood actress Bose Alao, Razak Omotoyosi, has been laid to rest.

A few days ago, Famous9ja reported the heartbreaking news of his passing. The renowned Beninese international footballer, who was married to the Yoruba actress and fathered her children, died at the age of 38 in Benin.

The Benin Republic footballer was laid to rest at his residence on Thursday, August 21, 2025.

In a video from the burial, fans, family, and well-wishers gathered to pay their final respects. The emotional moment captured Bose Alao in tears as she bid farewell to her late husband

Just last month, Bose Alao shared details about her marital journey in an interview with Biola Bayo.

She revealed that after being separated from her husband for three years, she eventually found herself becoming his side chick. Bose also recounted a painful incident when she called him, only for another woman to answer and mockingly refer to her as an ‘old taker,’ leaving her deeply hurt

Back in 2018, Bose publicly announced the end of her marriage to the footballer, citing persistent domestic violence.

However, in a surprising turn of events, she later apologized to her husband for making their issues public. While admitting there had indeed been cases of domestic violence, she acknowledged that both of them shared responsibility and were actively seeking help.

In a chat with Punch, Bose clarified that her marriage remained intact, explaining that she wanted to keep her family off social media, particularly while she and her husband were undergoing therapy to mend their relationship
