Popular Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has become a major topic of discussion online following his remarkable achievement at the AMVCA 2025, held today, May 10th, at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island.
A circulating video captures the emotional moment Femi Adebayo broke into tears as he was announced the winner of the Best Lead Actor award for his performance in the movie Seven Doors.
Femi triumphed over strong contenders including Tokunbo – Gideon Okeke, The Weekend – Bucci Franklin, House of Ga’a – Femi Branch, Skeleton Coast – Thapelo Makoena, Princess on a Hill – Bimbo Manuel, Suspicion – Stan Nze, and Lisabi: The Uprising – Adedimeji Lateef.
Femi Adebayo made a lively entrance to the stage alongside friends, full of excitement, but the moment quickly turned emotional as he broke down in tears. He was soon comforted and guided by fellow actor Odunlade Adekola and others.

Also, Femi Adebayo went on stage to collect the award for Chioma Chukwuka who wins the best lead actress for her role in his movie, Seven Doors at the 11th Edition of AMVCA.
