Veteran actress Jumoke George has opened up about her ongoing struggles with health, finances, and personal hardship. In a heartfelt interview with Biola Bayo, the actress revealed that she has been homeless for the past five to six years, finding refuge in her church where the pastor’s wife has been supporting and feeding her.
Jumoke also spoke about her declining health, sharing that she has been in and out of the hospital since January 2nd. Her medical expenses have left her in serious debt, with her son reportedly borrowing up to N2 million to help cover costs. To make matters worse, she now needs to undergo urgent brain and heart tests but lacks the funds to proceed.
She also revealed that her first child, a daughter, has been missing for the past four years, leaving her solely responsible for raising her grandchildren.

And immediately I introduced myself and chatted him up, he forwarded Madam Jumoke George’s contact to me via Whatsapp.
I called Madam Jumoke George and we spoke. I told her how much we love her that she should drop her account details, that she’ll get a few millions from a friend through me.
And so in collaboration with Spear News , my brother and friend, the anonymous donor credited my account with the sum of N5,000,000 (five million naira only) to support Madam Jumoke George, the Nollywood actress who is in distress but I could only transfer N4,500,000 as my daily limit has been exceeded.
She acknowledged the receipt in the voice note she dropped on Whatsapp.
Her prayers were deep and touching.
