Nollywood actress Omobolarinde Akinyanju, popularly known as Ashabi, has reacted to speculations about her being pregnant.
Famous9ja earlier reported that the actress recently launched her fashion store with a grand party. However, during the celebration, several netizens pointed out what seemed like a baby bump and began questioning her about it.
Responding to the claims, Ashabi dismissed the rumours, asking how she could be pregnant when she’s still caring for the two children she already has. The actress, who shares a child with singer Portable, clarified that she is not pregnant but only taking a break from childbirth. She added that when she is ready, she desires to have twins next.
“Pregnant keh? Someone even said ashabi tunti loyun modaran as how? Na u Dey feed d ones I born or u follow me to labour room? Make una no tie food 4 my belle abeg oooo
No rush, make I rest small na twins I wan do next”.
During the Easter celebration, Ashabi penned a touching message to her children, expressing deep gratitude for their presence in her life. The proud mother described them as the true definition of perfection and one of the greatest gifts she has ever received. She went on to shower her little ones with heartfelt prayers while reaffirming her unconditional love for them.
It will be recalled that Ashabi and singer Portable welcomed their second child, a baby girl, last year. The controversial artiste announced the good news on Instagram, sharing a video of the newborn alongside Ashabi’s maternity photos. Portable expressed thanks to God for blessing him with another princess and also appreciated Ashabi for the gift of their daughter.
Ashabi, in her own note, revealed that her heart was overflowing with joy as she welcomed her newest playmate.
