Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has opened up about the emotional challenges she faced while working on her latest movie, Konge 3.
Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a touching video of herself in tears on set. According to her, she couldn’t hold back her emotions and broke down crying immediately after the project was completed.
The award-winning actress described filming Konge as a deeply emotional journey. She revealed that she was undergoing a medical procedure, battling illness, and exhaustion while on set, and the role took a heavy toll on her.
Wumi Toriola also showed compassion for those facing unexpected challenges in life, praying that such unplanned events would not turn into tragedies.
“Shooting KONGE was a journey. I was in the middle of a procedure, and I was sick and tired.
The character still shook me; it was a lot.
I feel for every person going through happenstance”
Things we didn’t plan, and boom, they just come.
Some have taken a lot to greatness, and some have shown others setbacks.
In all, I pray we don’t become happenstances to tragedy.
