Veteran Yoruba actor Yemi Ayebo, popularly known as Yemi My Lover, has finally addressed the rumors linking him to actress Moji, who played his girlfriend in one of his popular movies.
Speaking in an interview on the official YouTube channel of Behind The Fame TV, the actor denied any allegations of wrongdoing or unpaid dues. He emphasized that there was no unresolved issue between him and Moji.
Yemi My Lover also revealed that he paid veteran actress Idowu Phillips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow, the sum of ₦300 for her role in the same film. He added that if Moji can present a written agreement proving he owes her more, he would willingly pay the outstanding amount.
According to Yemi My-lover, he said, “No, I’m not owing her any money, and if she is claiming that I owe her money, that means I’m also owing Mama Rainbow some money too. I paid all the actors on the movie set the amount I could afford, and there was nothing like a written agreement for additional payments between me and anybody. I paid Mama Rainbow 300 naira, I will pay Moji if she provides evidence of the amount I owe her. We all worked together with love because the movie industry wasn’t really lucrative at the time.”
