Earlier this month, the death of actor Odunayo Olufemi, popularly known as Oloto, was announced.
Kunle Afod, in a post on his Instagram page, shed more light on the incident, revealing that Oloto had attended church, complained of feeling unwell, and went to a hospital opposite the church. Sadly, while speaking to the receptionist about his condition, he passed away.

Mourning him, Regina Chukwu described the late veteran as her boss and a true mentor, appreciating him for his guidance and support in her career, and praying for his peaceful rest.

Tragically, on the same day Oloto’s death was announced, Yoruba Nollywood was hit with yet another loss following the passing of upcoming actress Omotola Odunsi.

In June, the industry also mourned the death of Kayode Peters, a renowned Nigerian film and stage producer, who reportedly died in Canada. His colleague, Steve Onu, popularly known as Yaw, confirmed the sad news.
