Veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has revealed that a woman intentionally joined the film industry just to pursue a romantic relationship with him.
In an interview shared on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel on Friday, July 4, 2025, the actor explained that the lady’s initial motive was to get close to him, and eventually, they ended up dating. He also spoke in detail about what happened between them and how it affected his personal relationships.
According to Taiwo Hassan, he said, “A lady joined film making because she wanted to date me, and we ended up dating each other. She is still alive right now, and I believe she would be laughing if she is watching my interview at the moment. Unfortunately, her movie career only lasted for a few years.”
He also recounted a moment when he believed he wouldn’t survive, going as far as removing his “Mecca teeth” a symbolic act of surrendering to fate.
