
Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo was humbled as Babatunde Fashola and other celebrities attended the premiere of his father’s film.
According to Famous9ja, Adebayo Salami celebrated 60 years in Nollywood by debuting his first film, Her Excellency, at Imax Cinemas in Lekki on Sunday.
Among the dignitaries at the event were Babatunde Fashola, former Governor of Lagos State, and H.E. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Governor of Kwara State.
Sharing clips from the event, Femi expressed how honored he was to receive them, and he thanked them for their support, presence, and the honor of their greatness.

Her Excellency, a political drama, was produced and directed by Femi Adebayo in honor of his father’s decades-long contribution to Nigerian cinema.
The film features Adebayo Salami alongside a stellar cast including Femi Adebayo, Sola Sobowale, Odunlade Adekola, Ibrahim Chatta, Lateef Adedimeji, Bimbo Oshin, Dele Odule, and Faithia Williams.
According to Femi, the project was conceived not only as a tribute to his father but also to “push the boundaries of indigenous storytelling and deliver a compelling narrative that reflects society.”
