Nigerian actress Allwell Ademola has shared the emotional and personal story behind her decision to remain unmarried at the age of 41.
In a heartfelt interview with fellow actress Biola Bayo on her YouTube show, Allwell revealed that she had plans to get married in 2005. However, a tragic event changed everything.
She disclosed that her fiancé passed away in November 2005 while they were on a phone call a traumatic loss that left her devastated and emotionally scarred for years.
“I know a lot of people who don’t want to be married and want to be alone. I know those who want to be married but don’t want kids,” she said during the interview.
Opening up further, she added: “I was supposed to have gotten married in 2005, but he ɗì£ɗ in November, that same year. I was talking to him on phone when he got sh0t. I l0ṣt my mind for 2 years.”
The actress explained that losing her partner had a deep and lasting impact on her, shattering her dreams of marriage and completely changing her outlook on relationships and life.
