Popular Nigerian TikToker, Peller, has sparked controversy in a new viral video where he threatens to take legal action against Nigerian pastor, Rev. Kesiena Esiri Henry.
This comes after the clergyman’s recent viral interview in which he accused Peller and his girlfriend, Jarvis, of being responsible for the widespread failure in the JAMB examinations.
Rev. Henry had earlier expressed concern over the amount of time Nigerian youths spend on TikTok, specifically pointing out Peller and Jarvis as negative influences. He questioned how students could succeed in their exams when they dedicate most of their time to consuming content on social media.
In response, Peller criticized Pastor Esiri, stating that no one is compelled to watch content from him and Jarvis.
He further disclosed his intention to pursue legal action against the clergyman for publicly mentioning their names in a negative light.
In his words; “What is this generation turning to? A pastor go to church and be preaching about Jarvis and Peller. He is saying na Peller and Jarvis make the whole children fail JAMB. Let me tell you something, nobody is forced to watch Peller and Jarvis. See that pastor eh, we will sue you. Yes Mr prophet, we will sue you! Because you use our own name collect offering in your church….”
