Davido, along with his 30BG crew, recently paid a visit to the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Honourable Tajudeen Abass. Notably, actress Eniola Badmus now serves as the Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearings to the Speaker.
This interaction has drawn attention due to the past rift between Davido and Eniola Badmus, which originated from events surrounding the tragic passing of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, in late 2022.
Eniola Badmus came under fire for allegedly capitalizing on the tragic death of Davido’s son by sharing related content on her YouTube channel. Many, including Davido, viewed the move as insensitive and exploitative. In response, Davido unfollowed Eniola on Instagram, a clear sign of tension in their once-close relationship.
Despite the fallout, Eniola continued to show public support for Davido, celebrating milestones such as his 30th birthday and his wedding to Chioma. However, their friendship appeared to remain distant, with fans observing that the close connection they once had was no longer evident.
However, during Davido’s recent visit to the office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives in Abuja, a rare video captured the moment he exchanged a handshake with Eniola Badmus. Despite the gesture, Davido’s facial expression suggested discomfort, indicating that he may still not be on good terms with the actress.
A quick check confirmed that even after their brief interaction at the Speaker’s office, Davido has yet to follow Eniola Badmus back on Instagram, further hinting that their strained relationship remains unresolved.
