Popular Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold, also known as AG Baby, and his colleague Mayorkun have taken to social media to express deep sorrow after their favorite football club, Manchester United, suffered a heartbreaking loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.
The Red Devils were outclassed by a spirited Tottenham side at the Athletic Bilbao Stadium on Wednesday night, May 21, 2025. Spurs clinched a narrow 1-0 victory, with Brennan Johnson scoring the decisive goal in the 42nd minute.
After failing to secure the Europa League title, Manchester United’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League through the tournament were dashed. Under the management of Ruben Amorim, the Red Devils are now set to miss out on all European competitions next season, currently languishing in 17th place in the Premier League.
In response to the crushing defeat, singer Mayorkun expressed his heartbreak in a viral video circulating online. The artist remixed Davido’s hit song “With You,” using the moment to lament Manchester United’s loss. His emotional lyrics went: “Sweet Amad Diallo, I no win Europa ooo, no Champions League.”

In his various Twitter post, singer Adekunle Gold who had boast of Man Utd winning the Europa league over Tottenham displayed unhappines after the loss to the extent he has to beg trolls to stop trolling him stressing that he is really ashamed of himself.
He tweeted; “I am ashamed! What the fuck is this???”
