Bolanle Ninalowo, popularly known as Nino–B and a renowned Nollywood actor, recently shared a conversation he had with his daughter that led her to reconsider a personal decision.
During an interview on the VJ Adams Podcast TV, which was posted on the show’s official YouTube channel, Ninalowo revealed that his daughter once told him she wanted to get a tongue ring.
In response, he told her that he couldn’t imagine sharing a kiss with a girl who has a tongue ring. His reaction made her rethink her choice and ultimately decide against it.
In his statement, he said, “I tend to advise my children rather than impose my decision on them. I remember a day when my daughter woke me up and said she wanted a tongue ring, and I was so surprised because I couldn’t tell my dad that I wanted to grow my beard when I was younger. My daughter wanted to do a tongue ring, but I told her I can’t kiss a girl with a tongue ring. I told her to think about something else because I know that’s probably what her friends are doing in school as well. She later came back to me and told me that she wanted a belly button, and I took her there, and I paid for it.”
