Veteran Actor Ojopagogo Finally Open Up On His Wife Moji Afolayan Quiting Acting

Veteran Yoruba Nollywood actor Razak Olayiwola, popularly known as Ojopagogo, has debunked rumors claiming he asked his wife to quit acting.

In an interview with Oyinmomo TV, Ojopagogo affirmed that his wife remains deeply involved in her acting career. He noted that she is often away from home due to her work schedule and shared that they have even crossed paths on three different movie sets this year, highlighting her ongoing success.

Ojopagogo also clarified that his wife was already an established actress before they met, and he would never stand in the way of her passion for acting.

He emphasized that his wife’s career has grown significantly over the years, and dismissed any rumors claiming he has tried to hinder her professional journey as completely untrue. The actor also pointed out that their relationship is founded on mutual respect and a deep understanding of each other’s work.

He made it clear that he is not a domineering husband and that there is no controlling dynamic in their marriage. Instead, their union is rooted in support and freedom, allowing both of them to pursue their individual careers without any form of interference.

He said: My wife is still acting, and her career is growing. The level she was at last year is not the same as where she is now because she keeps growing. So how can anyone say that I stopped her from acting? This is a profession she was already pursuing before I even met her, so why would I ask her to quit just because we got married? I don’t dictate to my wife and don’t restrict her freedom. In fact, we’ve met at three different filming locations this year alone. Even my wife is not always at home because of the nature of our work.”
